The Shift
What if you could close every lead, hit every deadline, and scale without hiring — while you sleep?
The Transformation
Same brokerage.
Different operating capacity.
Cost of Inaction: Every missed or delayed lead is a commission walked out the door — worth roughly $2,000 to $4,000 on a typical loan, on top of what you already spent to generate that lead in the first place.

FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
That’s what the partnership is. We monitor it around the clock, step in when something needs attention, and keep it current. You’re never buying a tool and getting abandoned — it’s our operations team running in your shop.
You’re not re-tiered mid-term. A cap-and-overage allowance — roughly twice your signing volume — absorbs the growth at a modest per-file rate until your term renews. At renewal, your rate resets to match your real volume, in either direction.
No penalty for leaving — we operate on good faith. Written notice, 30 days, done, mid-term or not. Anything already in flight stays on-system through that window so nothing gets stranded mid-close. Your data exports in standard formats, always yours, within 30 days.
Every Mycelian build is custom — wired to your office, your LOS, your people. It isn’t a shared product you subscribe to and swap out next quarter. The term matches what’s actually built: a system made once, for you, meant to run for years.
About 6 to 8 weeks — 71 calendar days at Presto. The audit sets the speed: the better we map your shop and the faster we get access, the sooner it ships.
Encrypted in transit and at rest, access restricted to authorized roles. Every agent action is logged — your audit trail builds itself.
See the full compliance & security detailYou won’t need to once we’re live. Contacts, segments, every touch across every channel, marketing ROI, and your compliance clocks all live on one system already — it’s not a separate bill, it’s already in the Retainer.
See the full CRM comparisonThe Boutique tier was designed for shops running up to 15 active loan files a month. Presto isn’t a giant either — that’s the point. Small shops feel missing infrastructure most.
Whatever you already run. Presto’s build wraps Calyx today, importing files via MISMO 4.3 XML. Your own LOS gets mapped during the audit and wired in at Build — we connect to what you have, not the other way around.
It replaces the 11 p.m. catch-up, not your people. Your team stops doing robot work; the robots don’t do the judgment work. You stay the licensed professionals.
Most teams don’t feel replaced — they feel relieved. What this takes over is the part nobody enjoys: chasing status, answering the same question at midnight, hunting for a file. Your people keep doing the part that actually needs a person.
It doesn’t get less yours — it gets named after your own culture. Presto’s agents are called Sophie, Lonnie, Grace, Lex; yours would be whatever fits your shop. And you’re never handed off to a stranger, either — the same person is with you before, during, and after. This runs your operations. It doesn’t replace what makes the place actually yours.
Each office gets its own system. Your build fee drops with every office you add. Your monthly retainer stays the same for each one.
See multi-location pricingFair, and we’d rather you go in skeptical than sold. This isn’t a slide deck — it’s running right now, and we’ll tell you plainly what isn’t finished yet too. You’re also not talking to a sales rep — you’re talking to the people who built it, including the architect who’d build yours.
Meet the architectIt would be, if it were still a pitch. It’s not — it’s a real system, running right now for a real brokerage, built by a named architect you can actually talk to. Nothing here is theoretical.
You don’t have to understand the machinery to trust what it’s built around: your human touchpoints, not around you. This was designed to elevate you, not blow past you: it surfaces, tracks, flags, and hands the actual judgment call back to you every time. You stay the licensed professional; the system’s whole job is surfacing what would otherwise be missed, before it reaches you.
A mycelial network is decentralized and autonomous — millions of threads sustaining an ecosystem without a central manager. That’s the system, for your brokerage.
Your Numbers
What would this look like for your shop?
Term
Mycelian, Boutique shop
$161,500 over 3 years
Pays for itself at about 1.2 extra closed loans a month.
Break-even = your monthly retainer ÷ what you earn on a closed loan. It's arithmetic, not a promise of more loans.
Every 9 p.m. lead answered and every file graded before your processor touches it. Mycelian doesn't replace your processor. It lets the one you have carry more files.
Back-office hire figure: $50,900/yr average US mortgage loan processor base salary (ZipRecruiter, 2026), loaded to $72,714/yr for payroll tax & benefits at 30% of total compensation (BLS Employer Costs for Employee Compensation, private industry, 2026). Hire count assumes a traditional shop adds a second processor around 16 active files a month and a third around 31 — Mycelian's own staffing experience running a brokerage, not a third-party study. Mycelian figures are published pricing, not estimates.
The Economics
Your growth shouldn't require
another payroll decision.
Hire for it | The $99/mo tool | Mycelian | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to capacity | Recruit, train, ramp — 2 to 4 months | Live in an afternoon — but it only ever does the one thing | Full capability from the day it goes live |
| Cost | A salary, benefits and payroll tax, every year | $99/mo, but capped at answering questions | Less each month than one salary, fixed |
| What it actually does | Whatever one person's capacity allows | Answers what it's told to. That's the whole job. | Runs your operations — a full team's worth |
| Compliance | As good as their training, and no one's checking their work | Avoids it entirely — too risky for a bolt-on tool | Built compliance-aware, by design |
| When it's tested | They leave, and the knowledge leaves with them | Hits its ceiling the moment you need more than FAQs | Absorbs the spike. Nothing walks out the door. |
Against your other real alternative — a custom dev shop — our estimate for a build like this: $132,480 and 13 months; firms that do this at enterprise grade start at $50k and run past $200k. Mycelian is the compliance-grade middle: live in about 6 to 8 weeks, at the size of your shop.
